Sustainable Food Sources
Enviro Agricultural Centers
A beautiful octagonal glass building will house and grow a variety of fruits, vegetables, herbs and spices. These gardens would be directly fed by connecting aquaponic systems. What are Aquaponics you ask? Aquaponics is the cultivation of fish and plants together in a constructed, re-circulating ecosystem utilizing natural bacterial cycles to convert fish shite to plant nutrients. This is an environmentally-friendly, natural food growing method that harnesses the best attributes of aquaculture and hydroponics without the need to discard any water or filtrate or add chemical fertilizers. These systems will be cultivating a full variety of seafood. One of the buildings will contain fresh water and the other saltwater species. This process will allow us to fertilize our crops as well as propagate a multitude of seafood for consumption.
This sustainable food system will stock our fully equipped industrial-sized kitchen and feed the many in our over-sized cafeteria.
We are deeply committed to the advancement of aquaponics as a sustainable growing methodology. We believe that it is one of the cornerstones of the future of world agriculture and Enviro will work tirelessly to spread that word. We want to make the planet a better place.
